Logistics Team Lead

Responsibilities Supervise and manage team. A liaison between direct customers. Manage and track team performance and target KPI’s. Broker Freight. Sales Bid on current and potential business. Requirements Preferred 3 years of experience in a freight brokerage or third-party logistics environment Preferred 3 years of experience in customer service and sales. Required minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role. Proven track record bidding and quoting RFP, RFQ, RFI and Awarding Contracts Proven track record on freight movements; monthly and annual volumes and revenues. Experience in managing a team of 3 or greater employees. Knowledgeable in over-the-road trucking (TL and LTL modes) Knowledgeable in Flatbed, Dry Van, Refrigerated, and Over-Dimensional freight. Knowledgeable on Load Boards (Truckstop and DAT) Knowledgeable in TMS and EDI systems Preferred Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in freight brokerage and logistics management, with a strong focus on team supervision, customer service, and sales performance.
