Surgical Technologist - Orthopedic and Robotics

Schedule

This position offers a Day 5x8 schedule from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist specialized in orthopedic and robotic surgeries. The candidate will be responsible for circulating in the operating room and may scrub, though scrubbing is not required but preferred. This role includes participating in a variety of surgical procedures alongside a skilled surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of the operating room.
• Circulate during orthopedic and robotic surgeries.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Handle special procedures and a wide range of surgical cases including General, Urology, Gynecology, Colorectal, Vascular, Spine, and Ortho.
• Participate in call rotations, providing 16 hours of on-call coverage per month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Valid BLS certification required.
• Valid Maryland or Compact license at the time of submission.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
