Managing projects involving the laboratory setup, testing, and field deployment of new Ocean/MET sensors, including evaluation of sensor performance using data analysis and quantitative data analysis of test data collected by measurement systems. Preparation of new and experimental Ocean/MET systems for field deployment that includes sensor testing, integration of power and sensors to the data collection platform, and confirmation of data throughput via satellite and cellular telecommunication systems. Develop test procedures for new and existing systems and sensors. Provide field support, to include the installation, maintenance, and repair of sensors. Provide technical equipment training to field crews. Assist with minor drawings in reference to equipment placement on stations and or buoys.
