About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Tyler, Texas, 75701!

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience in Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology is required. Travel experience is preferred. Charting experience with Epic required. Description: Call is required. Minimum 2 years of experience is necessary. Travel experience is preferred. Experience with Davinci Robots, endovascular procedures, and eye surgeries is a bonus. Staffing includes 1 patient per nurse on day shifts. Daily census averages 45 patients. The unit has 14 beds. Shifts are 10 hours long with a rotating day off. Call requirements are minimal, only 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks. Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Required surgical skills include abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, anterior lumbar interbody fusion, appendectomy, and various robotic surgeries. Preferred skills include experience with cataract extraction, gynecologic robotic surgery, and total joint replacements.
