## Commercial Risk Analyst IApplyremote type: Onsite Positionlocations: Buffalo, NYtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R87048# **Overview:**Support the first line of defense risk management function by assisting with the identification and assessment of risks, risk monitoring and testing, and issues management.## **Primary Responsibilities:*** Assist with the identification and assessment of risks through the completion of process maps and the identification of internal controls for key business processes.* Perform control testing in accordance with M&T's First Line of Defense Guidance on Management of Risks & Internal Controls and professional standards.* Assist with the monitoring of identified risks through the completion of risk-based testing and ensure compliance with business unit policies and procedures for key processes.* Assist with the completion of Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) and other risk management reporting.* Research and understand regulatory requirements for respective business line.* Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.* Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.* Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.* Complete other related duties as assigned.## **Education and Experience Required:**Bachelor’s degree plus one (1) year of relevant work experience , or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years' higher education and/or work experienceM&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees.
