Cold Store Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities:We are looking to fill the position of maintenance supervisor. This is a HANDS-ON position reporting to the Maintenance Manager. The job is located at our Cold Storage facility in Taunton, MA. This position will also require local travel to other locations, such as New Bedford, MA.Oversee and perform upgrades to refrigerated warehouse space.Maintain existing warehousing and production facilities.Develop a skilled maintenance team and supervise a small group of maintenance technicians and helpers.Inspect and repair machinery and facility systems such as electrical and plumbing.Complete specific projects with or without help from the crew.Provide support for maintenance on various machines within a cold storage facility.Project management experience.Previous experience in facility/factory maintenance.Ability to create and follow plans for repair and maintenance.Preventive maintenance program experience / CMMS software a plus.Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to lift to 100 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds.Strong problem-solving skills.High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).Ammonia Exp. Is a PLUSOperator 1-3 Cert is a PLUSEPA 608,601 a plus2+ years mechanical and electrical experience maintaining forklifts and warehouse equipment or combination of experience and trade school.Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.Knowledge of hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, sanders in the set up and fitting for welding or in finishing of welds.Previous experience in Cold Store is a plusPrevious experience in facility/factory refrigeration areas is desired.Compliance / Refrigeration programing is a plusMust have a valid Driver’s license and transportation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
