About the Position

Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Frankfort, Kentucky

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required (Friday and Saturday nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit, including supporting vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Perform induction of labor procedures including cook catheter, Cervidil, and oxytocin administration
• Circulate for cesarean sections as required
• Conduct IV insertions, lab draws, sterile vaginal exams, foley catheter placement, and epidural assistance
• Operate unit equipment including Alaris pumps, Corometrics 250 series Fetal Monitor, Monica monitor, and Ranger fluid warmer
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse and Centricity Perinatal (CPN) EMR systems

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience in a hospital setting
• Must be able to circulate for cesarean sections
• Active Kentucky RN license or compact license valid in Kentucky at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5 or more years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Strong team-oriented approach with ability to integrate into an established unit culture
