Apply online through the "Apply" link listed below or online at sc4.edu/careers.Job Summary: The Human Resources Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating employment, staffing functions and training. These responsibilities include oversight of recruitment, advertisement, staff/faculty qualification review, oversight of and participation in interviews, employment contract and offer execution, and hiring of minors.Generous Benefits Package Available (per current contractual agreement):Up to thirty-eight (38) paid time off days annually (prorated based on hire date).Up to fourteen (14) paid holidays/days closed throughout the year (including time off from December 24 through New Year's Day), depending on hire date.Health insurance benefits: Multiple medical health plan options upon date of hire. Up to $500 annual vision/hearing allowance.Participation in TIAA or MPSERS retirement system (includes employer and employee contribution options).Scholarship for employees, spouse, and/or dependent children to attend SC4 credit classes covering the full cost of registration fee, tuition, and technology fee (when applicable) per campus guidelines.Additional funds for employment-related education/training each year, upon approval.Access to educational funds for education, professional memberships, travel, and conferences.Responsibilities:Support HR compliance efforts by formulating, improving and administering programs, policies, practices and processes associated with meeting legal requirements and supporting institutional goals.Assist in organizing, directing, and evaluating the institution's human resource functions and performance.Remain current on recent federal and state law changes, monitoring updates that affect human resources.Manage recruitment and hiring process to include conducting interviews and overseeing onboarding process ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and employment laws.Lead the execution and completion of employee evaluation programs.Oversee employee separation process and return of college equipment.Develop, coordinate and administer training and development activities, including new employee orientation.Complete HR reporting initiatives including Michigan New Hire and DOL reporting.Serve as lead for online recruiting software.Act as Deputy Title IX Coordinator.Perform other duties as assigned.Supervision Received: This position reports to the Executive Director of Human Resources and Compliance.Supervision Given: Provide supervision to the HR staff.Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field from an accredited college or university required.A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible human resources and leadership experience reasonably related to the assignment.Minimum Qualifications:Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Ability to create and contribute to an environment of safety and trust, genuinely showing interest, concern, and empathy for others.Displays a commitment to excellence and providing quality service at all levels.Displays honesty, trustworthiness, and ethical behavior.Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with faculty and staff at all levels.Excellent organizational and time management skills.For further information, contact SC4 Human Resources at View email address on click.appcast.io or call View phone number on click.appcast.io.
