Stepdown RN - Night Shift

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12-Hour shifts, Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with holiday and weekend rotation required.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Stepdown RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit, managing patients with varying degrees of acuity. The nurse will work within a ratio of 1:4, ensuring the best outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage telemetric data.
• Provide care for patients post-surgery and during critical care recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and wellness.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of nursing experience, preferred in Stepdown or ICU.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required; NIHSS certification is preferred.
