Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting throughout all phases of the perinatal experience
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to other units as requested based on facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license in hand at time of submittal, or proof of a valid compact license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, with L&D as most recent clinical experience
• Specialty experience within the last year required
• EPIC charting experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required — must be issued through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIH and stroke education required
• One supervisory reference required at time of submittal
• Social Security Number required at time of submittal
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the standard base rate

• Experience working in a high-volume acute care Labor and Delivery environment
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills in fast-paced clinical settings
• Flexibility and adaptability when floating to other units as needed
