TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Yuba City, California, 95991!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - EPIC experience - Previous Charge Experience preferred Description: Local candidates accepted. Schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. End-tidal CO2 monitoring skills required. Experience with abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, abdominoplasty, and accessing/managing ports is necessary. Must possess skills in airway assessment and care of ventilated patients. Experience in post-operative care, including monitoring and managing various surgical procedures, is required. Knowledge of emergency medications and dysrhythmia recognition is essential. Candidate should be familiar with pain assessment and management techniques. Skills in phlebotomy and placement of oral/nasal airways are needed. Must demonstrate competency in managing intravenous vasopressors and central line care. Experience with pediatric patients in a recovery setting is preferred. Understanding of patient ratios and operative/procedural consent is important. Proficiency in interpreting lab values and arterial blood gases is required. Candidate should follow all isolation precautions and PPE guidelines. Flexibility in handling patient management and recovery is necessary. Candidates must provide accurate work history for the past 7 years. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to contract start.
