Construction Quality Manager

Construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control ManagerThe Construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager position will be responsible for leading the Project Quality Assurance Program, managing Quality staff, and coordinating activities to report to project and client leadership. The Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager is responsible for the quality and compliance inspection and review of all contractor products and equipment installed and review of completed data packages post-installation.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities and Duties:Establish, implement and maintain a Quality Assurance Program to manage, control, document and ensure that all work complies with the requirements of contract documentsManage on-site, full-time Quality StaffReview submittals (product data, shop drawings, etc.) for compliance with contract documentsVerify all material and equipment meet specified quality and contractual requirements and are received, handled, and stored correctly.Coordinate Subcontractors and Suppliers work to certify appropriate quality programs are followedSchedule special inspections as requiredAccompany personnel for off-site inspections and testingDevelop and implement Inspection and Testing Plans to produce objective evidence that structures, systems, components or services meet the requirements of the contract documentsPlan, manage, perform, record and follow up as needed on all required inspections and testsEstablish and maintain construction process controls to ensure work complies with contract documents and is performed by qualified personnelMaintain measuring and testing equipment including proper storage, identification, and calibrationIdentify all nonconformities, including those entered on the Daily Quality Reports, and document in a Nonconforming Report (NCR) and a Log, to identify, correct, document and control themPerform root cause analysis to preclude repeated failures resulting from the same or similar cases and recommend corrective actionIdentify all types of quality records (submittals, procedures, QWPs, etc.) as evidence that all activities comply with the requirementsPerform internal audits to assess compliance with the requirements of the Quality Assurance Program and contract documentsProvide training for Quality Staff, Management Teams, and Field PersonnelPerform other duties as requiredQualificationsQualifications and Skills:Five years of quality-related experiencePrior experience in Construction QAQC related functionsStrong oral and written communicationExcellent time management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAbout UsWood is a global leader in consulting, engineering and operations for the energy and materials sectors.
