Inside Sales Representative - Plumbing Products

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE – PLUMBING PRODUCTS

Location: Brockton, MA | In-Person
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week
Pay: $60,000–$70,000/year

POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our client's Elkay Products team. You’ll work directly with customers, prepare quotes, answer product questions, process orders, and support our outside sales team.

The ideal candidate has plumbing industry experience , preferably with Elkay products, and is comfortable managing multiple customer requests in a fast-paced sales environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding products, pricing, availability, and orders
• Prepare and follow up on customer quotations
• Assist customers with product selection and product questions
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Review orders for pricing, quantities, shipping instructions, and requirements
• Support outside sales representatives with quotes, product information, and order status
• Resolve order discrepancies and communicate necessary changes to customers
• Maintain accurate CRM records of quotes, sales activity, and customer interactions
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, operations, logistics, and internal teams
• Use manufacturer portals, EDI, Esker, ERP systems, and other electronic ordering platforms
• Handle customer-service calls involving technical, pricing, and order questions
• Follow inquiries, quotes, and orders through completion

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 2+ years of non-retail customer service experience required
• Elkay product experience strongly preferred
• Plumbing industry or manufacturers' representative experience preferred
• Experience with a plumbing manufacturer, manufacturers' representative, plumbing wholesaler/distributor, or similar organization
• Inside sales, quoting, sales support, customer service, or order management experience
• Commercial drain product knowledge preferred
• Ability to understand product information, pricing, specifications, and customer requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organization
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• CRM and ERP/order-entry experience preferred
• Oracle experience preferred
• Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office experience preferred
