Students also learn about fire protection history, public safety regulations, budgeting, and community relations. Hands‑on experience builds the skills needed to protect and serve as a firefighter, fire inspector, EMT, or paramedic. Job Type / Salary Job Type: Full Time Exempt, 10‑Month Calendar. Salary: $51,914.28 – $96,399.28. Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry‑related experience, teaching experience, and certification. Arizona IFSAC or Pro Board Certification as Firefighter I & II. Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree in Fire Science or closely related field. EMT/Paramedic Instructor.
