4-12 shifts per month
Shifts: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM, 9:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
Will consider Board Certified Family Medicine physicians with a minimum of 5 years ED experience
Iowa license or IMLC
BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
Active Iowa DEA
Actively practicing as an Emergency Medicine Physician within the last 12 months or completion of an Emergency Medicine residency within the last 6 months
Clean malpractice history - highly preferred

No scribes
Support Staff: 12-20 hours of APP coverage
Easy transfer center process
Annual volume: 22,000 visits
77% discharge rate
14% admissions
4% LBTC, 2.8% observation, 2.5% transfer
ER locums do not have a lot of trauma responsibilities
