Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with residential, commercial, or industrial HVAC equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot heating and cooling system problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Install and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, rooftop units, boilers, and ventilation systems.
• Inspect electrical components, wiring, thermostats, motors, compressors, and controls.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, charging, and leak detection in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Use HVAC diagnostic tools, meters, gauges, and hand/power tools.
• Test equipment to ensure proper operation, efficiency, and safety.
• Identify worn or defective components and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Maintain accurate service records and document work performed.
• Follow company safety procedures, manufacturer specifications, and applicable HVAC codes.
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and other technicians.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC technician experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, refrigeration, and mechanical components.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment.
• EPA 608 certification required or preferred, depending on position.
• HVAC certification or technical training is a plus.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and physically demanding environments.
