Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced CVICU RN for a travel assignment in Asheville, NC. This role requires expertise in critical care nursing within a hospital environment, specifically in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). You will be working with advanced medical equipment and responsible for critical patient care decisions.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU

• Titration of vesicant medications
• Administering pressors, sedation, and paralytics
• Monitoring and managing ventilators and tracheostomies
• Interpreting telemetry and hemodynamic data
• Setting up and managing PA catheters
• Performing transvenous pacing, cardioversion, and TEE
• Assisting with chest tube insertions and maintenance

Requirements of the RN - CVICU

• Current RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
• ICU experience is required
• CCRN certification recommended
• Familiarity with IABP, Impella, and CRRT is desirable
• Advanced skills in critical care procedures
