Event Operations Coordinator

Role Overview: The position involves managing and leading banquet operations to deliver high-quality event services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing profits. Responsibilities include overseeing event setup, coordinating with kitchen and service staff, maintaining sanitation standards, managing inventories, and projecting supply needs. The role also requires setting team goals, conducting meetings, and actively participating in event service shifts. Customer Service & Communication: Provides exceptional guest experiences by addressing feedback, resolving issues, and fostering a guest-focused environment. Maintains clear communication with team and clients throughout events. Human Resources & Leadership: Conducts staff performance appraisals, enforces safety procedures, and promotes open, collaborative relationships. Ensures staff understands expectations, provides feedback, and addresses concerns. Participates in training and corrective actions to improve team performance. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED with 2 years’ experience in event management or related fields.
