Help create and maintain a structured and predictable classroom environment. Assist students with self‑regulation strategies and coping mechanisms. Qualifications High school diploma, equivalent, or successful completion of ParaPro test required. Associate’s degree or higher preferred. Experience and/or education working with children with special needs preferred. Ability to work cooperatively with classroom teacher(s), school adjustment counselors, and administrators. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, flexibility, and a genuine desire to support students with unique needs. Track record of professionalism and effective collaboration in the workplace. Work Hours 32.5 hours per week.
