Responsibilities Provide direct postoperative care to PACU patients as they recover from anesthesia Monitor and document vital signs, airway status, pain, nausea, and recovery milestones; respond to clinical changes promptly Administer medications and interventions per physician orders; document assessments and progress Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical care teams, and nursing colleagues to optimize patient safety and outcomes Maintain strict infection control practices and safe patient handling; prepare patients for transfer to the next level of care or discharge

Requirements Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license with eligibility to practice in Oregon BLS certification (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) required ACLS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required PALS certification (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS) required PACU nursing experience preferred; clinical competency to manage post-anesthesia recovery in a fast-paced environment Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts in a PACU setting
