Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Apply now and a recruiter will reach out with more details. Minimum Requirements Graduation from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree). Current Physical Therapy license in the State of Nevada required prior to start of assignment. BLS certification required. Demonstrated clinical competency appropriate to inpatient hospital care, including evaluation, plan of care development, skilled intervention, and discharge planning. Experience with typical hospital patient care equipment, evaluation tools, therapeutic modalities, electronic medical records, and standard documentation practices required. Ability to perform direct patient care tasks including transfers, gait training, and use of proper body mechanics; may be required to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, patients, and families. Willingness to adapt to varying caseloads, schedules, and department productivity standards. Preferred: Additional related education or acute care hospital experience. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Shift Name: Days. Shift Hours: 07:30–16:30. Assignment Duration: 13 Week travel assignment. Start Window: May–August timeframe for assignment start. Float Requirement: May be required to float to other facilities within the regional system.
