Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to staff the Emergency Room during overnight shifts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate nursing care to patients presenting with various emergency conditions.
• Assess patient needs quickly and accurately to determine priority of treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and workplace policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent ER experience.
• Obtain and maintain ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Capable of working night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
