We are hiring for Medical Assistant positions in the Primary Care Department at Providence Valdez Primary Care in Valdez, AK!

• Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 hours per week - regular status, benefitted position.

• Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 hours per week - temporary status, short term coverage, non-benefitted position.

• Per Diem, Day shift, hours per week are as needed, non-benefitted position.

Provides medical assistance to physicians and education to patients. Works cooperatively with clinic office personnel, patients and medical staff. Coordinates ancillary services and scheduling of clients.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification
• 1 year experience in a physician’s office or clinic.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
