Why you'll love this job Responsible for working with management, end-users and other American Airlines team members to answer data related questions, address concerns, and coordinate enhancements to support refunds and corporate projects. You will be involved in data analysis/reporting, identifying issues, proposing solutions, coordinating and contributing to the implementation of proposed solutions. The role is a part of the Revenue team within our Finance group. Ongoing analysis and advice on departmental changes, company initiatives and industry mandates Communication with end-users of Refunds data regarding questions/ concerns about RAC data/projects Communicate with IT and Automation for troubleshooting and problem solving related to systems and applications; provide refund accounting support to IT as needed Develop automation solutions for process enhancements including testing and implementation Assist managers as needed for special projects and report creation All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education 1 year of related work experience in similar field/position Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. Self-starter with proven track record of demonstrating analytical aptitude General knowledge of accounting principles Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience N/A Skills, Licenses & Certifications Ability to independently identify issues, conduct research, analyze data and propose solutions Ability to build alliances & reach effective solutions across multiple departments Ability to work independently and manage multiple dependencies Aptitude for problem identification and resolution including securing inter-departmental and intra-departmental cooperation Ability to manage multiple relationships and projects, prioritizes opportunities, and take initiative towards achieving common goal Capable of effectively working with people of varying backgrounds and levels Willingness to show initiative and take ownership of job responsibilities What You’ll Get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
