Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in Miami, FL responsible for performing perioperative patient care in a busy surgical unit. The role involves scrubbing and circulating in various surgical service lines, including joint replacement, ENT, spine, urology, vascular, and thoracic surgeries. The OR Nurse will work a four-day schedule supporting patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of surgical patients. Job Details Position Description: OR Nurse responsible for observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care in a surgical setting. Must be able to scrub and circulate across all service lines. Required Qualifications: 1 year of current experience in an acute OR setting; certifications including ACLS and BLS; two years of recent OR experience; valid certification for OR Nursing; must have a minimum of 1 year of OR experience; located in Miami, FL. Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: PALS, CNOR, and charge nurse experience are considered a plus. Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate a dedicated, reliable attitude, excellent bedside manner, and strong charting skills. Rotating weekends, four on-call periods over a four-week cycle, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays, are required.
