Mechanical Assembly Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 15.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Thursday from 07:00am to 05:30pm)

Phasr Industries is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to build UL 508A-listed protection and control (P&C) panels, relay panels, and related electrical assemblies for utility and industrial customers. This role is responsible for the mechanical fabrication and assembly of enclosures, subpanels, and component layouts in accordance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and applicable industry standards.

Mechanical Assembly Technician Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, panel layouts, and BOMs. • Experience with hand and power tools, drilling/tapping, and precision measurement. • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Preferred:

• 1–3 years of experience in electrical panel, control panel, or relay panel assembly. • Familiarity with UL 508A, NFPA 79, or substation P&C assemblies. • Experience with bus bar fabrication, enclosure modification, or rack assembly. • Basic understanding of electrical components and terminology.
