This position must maintain a clean and safe work environment according to established policies and procedures. During the absence of the shift supervisor, this position serves as the operational leader who engages the team in receiving, shipping, unpacking, picking, staging, storage, verification and monitoring of stock for the JHHS member institutions. This position requires completing appropriate paperwork and entering information into department computer system.Hours:40 Hours (Full Time)Day ShiftWeekends RequiredLocation:5300 Holabird AvenueBaltimore MDEducation:Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a G.E.D. certification, required.Responsibilities:Verifying accuracy of warehouse deliveries by comparing to purchase orders. Inspecting items for damage or defects.Completing appropriate paperwork and entering information into department computer system.Unloading and unpacking items from delivery vehicle.Filling pick-list requests for warehouse items.Preparing and packing items for transport to various sites.Operating motorized and manual material handling equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, pallet jacks and reach trucks.Meeting established picking and receiving expectations in accordance to standards of operation.Work Experience:Four years of relevant work experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing or similar work environments.
