Location: Lander, Wyoming

About the Opportunity

Lander Medical Clinic is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join our Women's Health team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-spectrum Obstetrics and Gynecology within a physician-owned multi-specialty clinic while enjoying an exceptional quality of life in Wyoming.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-Time preferred (Part-Time considered)

• Practice Location: Lander, WY

• May provide clinic coverage in Riverton when not on call

• Outpatient clinic with hospital privileges for deliveries and surgical procedures

• Approximately 16-20 scheduled patients per day

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care

• Perform annual wellness examinations and preventive screenings

• Diagnose and treat reproductive health conditions

• Provide prenatal and postpartum care

• Deliver babies at the local hospital

• Perform gynecologic surgeries and procedures

• Counsel patients regarding contraception, menopause, and reproductive health

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology

• Eligible for Wyoming medical licensure

• DEA certification

• Two years of experience preferred; qualified new graduates are welcome to apply

Compensation

• Guaranteed salary: $300,000-$320,000

• One-year guaranteed compensation followed by physician collections model

Schedule & Call

• Clinic Hours:

  • Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

  • Saturday: 9:00 AM-1:00 PM

• Hospital call required

• Deliveries performed at the local hospital

Questionnaire:

- Is the position available for both full-time and part-time? We would prefer full time, but would consider part time. Most of our physicians work 4 days per week, but they have the option to work 5 which would result in an increase in compensation.

- What is the exact location for this open position?

• OB/GYN at 745 Buena Vista Drive in Lander, WY. Could have a couple of days in Riverton when not on call.

- How many open positions are there? 1

- Are you open to hiring new graduates? We would prefer a couple of years of experience, but we are open to all qualified candidates.

- If not, what is the minimum experience required? At least 2 years would be preferred.

- What is the usual shift and is there any on-call/weekend requirement? Business hours are Mon - Fri 8-5, Sat 9-1. Most Physicians work 4 days per week. OB/GYN would take call at the local hospital,

- Is there a shift differential for on-call, weekends, or nights? No shift differentials.

- Do you provide any sign-on or relocation services? We are open to discussing sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance.

- What is the pay range for this position? Physicians start on a 1 year guarantee then go to a collections plan.

• OB/GYN - $300k - $320k

- Is any other specific experience or certification required? All the typical requirements.

- How soon do you expect the candidate to start? As soon as we find the right candidate

- Is this an outpatient or inpatient facility? Outpatient

- What is your interview process? We like to have a phone conversation with HR, the CEO, and a Partner or Physician, then we fly the candidate out for three to four days for clinic tours and community/real estate tours.

- What will be the patient ratio? Our Providers usually have 16-20 available appointments per day. The length depends on the appointment type.

- What ages of patients will they typically attend to? We serve all ages in the community, but we have 2 pediatricians, so typically our other providers are seeing 18+.

- How soon can we expect feedback after submitting a candidate? Jeremy and I will conduct the initial CV review, and you should expect a quick turn around unless we are on vacation.

- Are there any specific questions you want us to ask the candidates? I believe it is important that they understand Wyoming winters and have some experience in rural areas.
