*Duties*

* Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including arraignments, hearings, trials, and sentencing proceedings.
* Provide comprehensive immigration legal services, such as visa applications, asylum claims, deportation defense, and naturalization processes.
* Conduct thorough legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to build strong cases grounded in procedural and statutory law.
* Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and client correspondence with precision and clarity.
* Prepare for court depositions, trial proceedings, and negotiations by organizing evidence and developing strategic arguments.
* Communicate effectively with clients to explain legal options, updates on case status, and procedural requirements while maintaining compassionate client relationships.
* Stay current on evolving laws across multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, employment law, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, and general & commercial litigation.

*Qualifications*

* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdictions.
* Proven experience in criminal defense and immigration law with a strong understanding of procedural and statutory legal frameworks.
* Demonstrated expertise in legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms.
* Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to craft compelling motions and pleadings.
* Skilled in negotiation tactics to achieve favorable client outcomes while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
* Familiarity with court depositions, trial preparation techniques, and litigation procedures across diverse practice areas.
* Strong client communication skills with a focus on empathy and clarity during complex legal discussions.
* Experience managing multiple cases efficiently within a busy law office environment while adhering to deadlines.
