IT Support Specialist

IT ProfessionalRaycap, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Professional to provide end-user support for all U.S. facilities. Based in Charleston, SC, this role requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to delivering timely and effective support to internal customers.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesProvide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfactionMonitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdeskPrioritize daily deliverables against help desk requestsDocument internal proceduresInstall, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and softwareMaintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licensesManage PC setup and development for new employees using standard hardware and softwarePerform timely workstation hardware/software upgrades and maintenance as requiredActs as software support and technical assistanceResponds to user requests for service and determines nature and extent of support neededInstalls, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots a wide range of software usedInvestigates problems and finds solutionsActively participates in planning and implementing IT improvement projectsJob QualificationsAssociates or Bachelor's Degree, or 2 years minimum work experience.Thorough knowledge of computer hardware and softwareAbility to communicate effectively and work well with a wide variety of team members.Experience training users on software and hardware functionsFocused, motivated and driven individual who meets deadlines and follows throughExtensive experience with Sharepoint and Microsoft Office 365Why Choose Us?Raycap, Inc. has decades of experience creating products that protect and support the world's most valuable assets from power and lightning surges.
