divh2RN - Transport Staff Nurse/h2pThe RN - Transport Staff Nurse plans, provides, and monitors individualized nursing care in response to specific patient needs within a defined scope of practice. Reports to departmental management./ph3Essential Duties And Responsibilities/h3ulliProvides developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care respective to the assigned patient population./liliResponds to inter-facility transport requests utilizing mobile intensive care units and rotor and fixed wing aircraft./liliCollaborates with other transport team members to ensure the safety of all transport operations./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./li/ulh3Licenses And/Or Certifications/h3ulliCurrent Virginia state license as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse holding a valid Compact State license./li/ulh3Minimum Education And Experience Requirements/h3ulliMust have an Associates in Nursing/Diploma in Nursing with applicable experience. BSN is preferred./liliMinimum of three years NICU, PICU, and/or Pediatric ED or relevant critical care experience required./liliDepartment specific RN certification preferred./liliCPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire./liliStrong leadership abilities and communication skills required./liliPALS and/or NRP required./liliIncreased Security Clearance for job role Required: FBI finger printing, criminal background, educational and personal reference check verification and clearance required for identified job roles./li/ulh3Working Conditions/h3ulliExpected to work in a patient care environment with minimal exposure to environmental hazards such as, but not limited to, excessive noise, dust, or extremes in temperatures.
