Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation Location Lynchburg, Virginia Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM, with every other weekend rotation. Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) in Rehabilitation will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various conditions including strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and trauma. This RN will work within a transdisciplinary team model in a dynamic rehabilitation environment, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care to support their recovery and discharge plans. Responsibilities Administer medications and monitor patient responses. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create individualized care plans. Conduct patient assessments and document care activities within the electronic health record (Cerner). Support patients in therapy sessions and daily living activities. Educate patients and families about post-discharge care and rehabilitation resources. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must possess an active RN license. Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation or med-surg setting required; no new graduates. Cerner experience is required. Why ARMStaffing?
