Part-Time Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist | Clarksburg, WV | Up to $18/Hour Location: Clarksburg, WV Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour Schedule: Part-Time | 20 Hours per Week | Flexible Monday-Friday Schedule A local company in Clarksburg, WV is looking for an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist to join its team! This position offers a flexible 20-hour weekly schedule Monday through Friday and compensation of up to $18.00 per hour . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, QuickBooks, payroll taxes, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting who is looking for a flexible, part-time position. Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist Responsibilities Process accurate and timely payroll for client companies . Maintain financial accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Maintain the general ledger and transfer account summaries. Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. Maintain accurate bookkeeping and payroll records. Assist with payroll tax information and related documentation. Provide excellent customer service to clients. Assist with front office and administrative duties as needed. Support the team with additional bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting responsibilities. Help build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business growth. Qualifications Previous experience using QuickBooks in a bookkeeping, payroll, or accounting role. 2+ years of related bookkeeping or payroll experience preferred . Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, payroll taxes, and payroll software . Experience with payroll processing and account reconciliation preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong customer service and communication abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities. Motivation to develop client relationships and grow an individual book of business. High school diploma or equivalent required. Why Apply?
