Warehouse Operator

Warehouse ManagerThe role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, shipping and receiving area and ensuring that customer needs are met through the timely and efficient movement of products and materials in a high volume, fast paced distribution environment. This position requires that an individual be able to lift up to 50 pounds, be willing to work as part of a team, be able to work alone, think quickly and follow directions.We offer: Medical, Dental, Vision, LifeWe value respect, positive work ethic, creativity, drive and kindness.Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Responsible for complying with food safety, food defense, quality, safety, GMP, HAACP, allergen and housekeeping programs as well as other regulations as requiredResponsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of inbound ingredients, paperwork and processes are within specifications (BOL, Seals, Driver ID, Trailer Inspection, Trailer #, Pallet Preservation, Wash Ticket, Allergen Labels, COA, PO, etc.)Ability to receive, load/unload trucks, process drivers and record all inbound, work in process and finished goods into Data Ninja, recording all damages and non conformances via pictures and paperwork and input into Data NinjaEnsure that all company policies and requirements are met and that all batches are completed within the necessary time frame to meet shipping needs (micro hold, pallets, film, labels, codes, stacking, preservation, scanning, records, etc.)Ensure that all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed thoroughly, accurately and in a timely mannerTo be responsible for ensuring that "right first time" quality is always a priority and that quality is never compromisedTransports inventory and materials across the facility, stacking and organizing bulk items and picking/pulling inventory to prepare for receiving, production or shipment. Responsible for utilization of equipment, materials and people within the warehouse environmentFollows instructions on BOMs, brings the proper ingredients, at the proper amounts and signing off of them correctlyOversee product inspection and ensure all products are in specification as the final stage before leaving the plantCompletes all required documentation for warehouse operation (FL Inspections, Sign Offs, Inspections, Inbound Paperwork, Data Ninja, and forwards to QA department for review)Maintains housekeeping of the warehouse areas throughout the shift. Responsible for resolving any leaks, spills, debris, trash, labeling, stacking or transport needs required throughout the dayFollows the facility's food safety and food quality programs to assure compliance and achieve desired resultsResponsible for notifying a person with the authority to take action for any Food Safety or Food Quality issueReports all non-compliance, product protection and food safety issues to management when encounteredEnsuring that the department adheres to the strictest levels of hygiene, cleanliness and adhering to all health and safety rulesRepresents the company in a positive manner at all times. Provides training/cross training as neededAll other duties as assigned by managementDesired Skills and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experienceForklift experience and license preferred1+ years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience in a fast moving packaged goods environment, powdered or beverage production experience preferredFlexible schedule, including nights and weekendsMust be able to lift at least 50 lbs, stand, sit, move, squat, walk and climb repeatedly during shiftNoise level in working environment can be moderate to highValid drivers license, ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and background check is requiredExperience with Excel, Word, ERP and WMSChike & Next Level Family of Companies is an Equal Opportunity Employer EEO AA M/F/Vet/Disability and a drug free workplace.
