Transitional Therapy Manager

The Transitional Therapy Manager provides clinical and operational leadership for the transitional therapy team and education team to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality and evidence-based services to pediatric patients. This position is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, professional growth, and continuous improvement. The manager provides direction for departmental policies, workflows, clinical practices, and initiatives and partners with physicians, nursing, education, and other interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated patient care.DutyPercent of TimeProvides operational leadership for the Transitional Therapy Team by planning, directing, supervising, and coordinating departmental functions, workflow, documentation, scheduling, productivity, and program effectiveness.25%Maintains a clinical caseload, participates in patient care, team conferences, huddles, and family training.20%Assures appropriate staffing levels through recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, performance evaluations, coaching, corrective action, and performance management.15%Leads strategic planning, program development, service expansion initiatives, and implementation of departmental and organizational priorities15%Participates in quality improvement, outcome monitoring, accreditation readiness, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and QAPI initiatives.10%Develops, revises, implements, and monitors departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.5%Participates in budget preparation and management and ensures necessary equipment and supplies are available.5%Other duties as assigned5%Education:Graduate from an accredited therapy or education program related to the team that they are assigned to manage.Experience:5+ years of clinical experience in the pediatric therapy and/or education field with proven effectiveness.License/Certification/Credential:Current Oklahoma License in their respective therapy or education field.About UsOur work begins where we are all equal - at the heart.Bethany Children’s Health Center (formerly The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital) located in Bethany, Oklahoma is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care.
