We offer the finest luxury vacation rentals throughout Florida's Panhandle. A DAY IN THE LIFEThe HVAC Service Technician position performs service, maintenance, and installation of all makes and models of residential and commercial HVAC equipment. HVAC Service Technician's work may include but not limited to the diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment, installation of duct work and HVAC equipment, performing start-ups on HVAC equipment, and installing and terminating line and low voltage wiring. Maintenance Duties and ResponsibilitiesDiagnosing and repairing HVAC equipmentPerforming preventative maintenance on HVAC equipmentInstallation of duct work and HVAC equipmentAbility to work in confined spaces (attic and under houses)Maintain, clean and stock company vehicleEnsure a clean and safe work areaMaintain safety protocols with homeowners or guestAbility to communicate with owners or guests professionallyAbility to collaborate well with coworkersFollow direction of HVAC Service ManagerPerform other duties as assigned by management.Work DaysNormal work schedule is Monday - Friday, but must have the flexibility to work weekend, holidays, and after hours when required.Willing to work overtime when the situation arises.Take part in the on-call rotation for nights and weekends Requirements and QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentExcellent communication and people skillsBe knowledgeable or have the willingness to learn new skills.Experience in residential and light commercial HVAC systemsRefrigerant certified (minimum type 2)Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelinesExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilityValid Driver's License Physical RequirementsMust be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, twist, and bend for extended periods of time.Lift and carry material weighing up to 75 lbs.; occasionally lifting items weighing more than 100 lbs. with assistance.Ability to climb and utilize a ladder safely.Good physical fitness: hand-eye coordination and ability to quickly respond to sounds.Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including outdoors in times of excessive heat and inclement weather. ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR EXCITING TEAM WHERE EVERY DAY'S A HOLIDAY?If you feel that you would be right for this customer service job, please fill out our initial 3-minute, mobile-friendly application.
