Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to cardiac patients, focusing on Congestive Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and pre/post cardiac catheterization.
• Manage patient monitoring on telemetry and handle rapid response situations as required.
• Administer and monitor cardiac and vasoactive drips, ensuring no titration is necessary.
• Perform procedural sedation administration and oversee perioperative care for cardiac procedures.
• Maintain proficiency in chest tube management and tracheostomy care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
• ACLS, BLS certifications are mandatory; NIHSS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with cardiac monitoring systems and EPIC charting experience.
• Experience managing patient ratios of 1:5 with cardiac and respiratory focus.
• Skilled in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, with experience in cardiac and peripheral line care.
• Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations using Rapid Response Teams.
