Job Description:

The CT Technologist provides professional, timely, accurate diagnostic C-T examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by the referring physician and within compliance of established policies and procedures. They must provide C-T care to patients for the purpose of obtaining diagnostic quality radiographs for interpretation by the radiologist.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Process CT system, perform surgical/sterile procedures, and manage studies with or without contrast media and cross-sectional anatomy.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience required.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• CT & X-ray experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
