Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for an acute care position requiring proficiency in both CT and X-ray imaging, including CTAs, fluoroscopy, portables, and C-arm.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in a combined CT/X-Ray unit
• Performs general CTs and CTAs, general X-ray, portables, C-arm, and fluoroscopy
• Candidates must be able to perform both CT and X-ray imaging
• EMR system is Epic; Synapse is used for radiology imaging
• 4x10-hour evening shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Weekend rotations are required
• No holiday coverage required
• No on-call requirements
• Floor-specific orientation is provided

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active WV state license required; license required if applicable
• Must be able to start own IVs independently
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Driver's license copy required for consideration

Additional Information

• Radiation dosimetry badge must be provided by the traveler's agency; the facility does not supply one
• Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before being eligible to apply
• Former permanent staff of this facility are not eligible to return as travelers
• Travelers may not work within the WVU Medicine system for more than one cumulative year without taking a 2-year break
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but candidates should be aware of the experience and independent skill requirements of this role
