Job Description
Sunstates Security is currently hiring a Full-Time Security Shift Lead in the Huntsville, AL area. This position offers a pay rate of $20.00/hr - with weekly pay. Days and hours can vary depending on operational needs.
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Requirements
- Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work weekends.
- Must be capable to stand, sit, bend, reach, and/or walk up to 45 minutes consistently.
- Strong report writing, coaching, mentoring, and leading by example skills.
- 2+ years in security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- 1+ years in a supervisory role.
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service role.
- Truck gate experience is preferred.
- AL security license is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills and critical thinking skills.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the security of the area, this includes the outside premises.
- Lead multiple officers per shift and hold team members accountable through corrective action process.
- Ensure the rules and regulations are followed.
- Report writing (daily activity, incident, visitor logs, maintenance items, etc.).
- Checking in visitors, ensure policies are followed, foot patrols, access control.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

AL Security License
