Pharmacist in Sun Prairie, WI

An established healthcare facility in Wisconsin requires two experienced inpatient pharmacists to support their pharmacy team on a 13-week contract starting March 30. This role offers a dynamic schedule with a rotation of 8-hour day and evening shifts, including every third weekend.


Location:

• Sun Prairie, Wisconsin (with onsite work at a nearby hospital)
• Candidates must be willing to travel and work onsite

Schedule:

• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Days: 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• Evenings: 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
• Rotating every 3rd weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services within an acute care setting
• Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing
• Conduct therapeutic medication monitoring and manage drug shortages effectively
• Provide pharmacotherapy management tailored to a variety of medical conditions
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and communication

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Wisconsin ACT-10 pharmacy license accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Proven expertise in acute care pharmacy practices
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is required
• Experienced traveler status required; local candidates within 70 miles will not be considered
• Ability to comply with facility infection control protocols, including shaving for mask fit testing (use of personal PAPRs/CAPRs not permitted)
