Volt is immediately hiring for a CNC Lathe Operator – 2nd Shift in the greater Valencia, CA area.

As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will:

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision components to specification
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts while maintaining workflow efficiency
• Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments to maintain quality standards
• Perform routine equipment checks to ensure proper alignment and setup before production
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to verify tolerances and specifications
• Troubleshoot basic machine or process issues to minimize downtime
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of CNC lathe
• Familiarity with machining tools, equipment, and measurement instruments
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Effective communication skills across teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to meet production needs
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Training will be conducted on 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) and $1.50/hour shift differential applied after training completion.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
