Job Description:
Registered Nurse (RN) in Psychiatry provides care to patients with mental health conditions, including assessment, medication administration, and therapy support. They monitor patients' mental and physical well-being, create individualized care plans, and assist with crisis intervention. RNs in psych collaborate with mental health professionals to promote patient recovery and manage behavioral issues. Strong communication, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations are essential in this role.
