- You will provide expert technical, procedural, regulatory guidance and legal operational constraints of assigned area of responsibility.
- You will provide and act as point of contact for the organization on all inquiries, correspondence, and request from any federal, state, or local environmental regulatory agency, on discussions with community or public directed by management.
- You will investigate, monitor track, and report compliance with program activities occurring aboard the installation in accordance with published policy.
- You will identify deficiencies. develop corrective action, formulate operational and corrective plans, and implement plans to correct deficiencies.
- You will act as an environmental lead for all emergency response actions dealing with hazardous materials, hazardous waste releases, incidental and operational and any associated corrective actions or abatements of the releases.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- The position requires the ability to pass a background investigation. Inability to pass and maintain required background requirements may be a cause for removal from the position.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
