Travel Physical Therapist - $1,746 per week

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) Location: Facility in Spring Hill, Tennessee. 13‑week assignment starting 07/06/2026. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts. Employment type: Travel. Job Summary The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. The role involves developing personalized, evidence‑based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists and other health‑care professionals. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using clinical examinations, standardized tests and patient history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement treatment plans using therapeutic exercises, manual techniques and physical‑therapy modalities. Operate and maintain specialized equipment and modalities safely and effectively. Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record accurately. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize outcomes. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics and injury prevention. Maintain a safe treatment environment in accordance with infection control protocols and regulatory standards. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Participate in discharge planning and community or home‑based transition activities. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice. Qualifications Required : Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations; current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred : Doctorate degree in physical therapy; recent graduates welcome; additional certifications or licenses may be required. Essential Skills & Physical Requirements Critical thinking, excellent interpersonal communication, and service excellence. Proficient reading and writing in English; computer skills. Physical ability to remain stationary, move about, lift 50‑100 lbs, push, pull, bend. Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel and under pressure.
