Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care to patients based on established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other healthcare disciplines.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Experience in an acute care facility: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification: Required
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification: Required

Essential Functions

• Collects and analyzes relevant data pertinent to patient health and situations.
• Develops a care plan that prescribes interventions to meet desired outcomes.
• Implements the care plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and ensure safety.
• Evaluates patient progress towards achieving outcomes.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment.
• Provides educational opportunities for patients and family members.
• Directly communicates health information to patients, families, and treatment teams.
• Participates in discharge planning to enhance continuity of care.
• Delegates tasks as appropriate and coordinates the responsibilities of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
