Python Developer/ Remote , 6+ Months Contract

Job Title

Location: Remote

This position may be offered to a candidate authorized to work in the US for his/her/their stated employer, without any restrictions which would prevent the candidate from working on the proposed assignment for the duration of the assignment period

Must Haves

This is a Python developer position, strictly backend - development experience is a must have. Must have Python in AWS experience - boto3 library. Strong preference GPC (Google Private Cloud)

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

• Knowledge & experience developing Python applications
• Experience maintaining code in a central version system using git
• History of contributing to deployments in an engineering role
• Knowledge & experience working in a cloud environment with infrastructure as code defining immutable infrastructure
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software development
• 5+ years of related industry experience in an enterprise environment
• Experience with code coverage analysis/static analysis tools
• Experience agile methodologies such as scrum
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience (required)
