You will confidently triage, diagnose, and manage high-acuity cases while developing and implementing timely treatment plans with the support of our skilled Licensed Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants.
The ideal candidate is comfortable performing emergency procedures, stabilizing critically ill or injured patients, and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our specialty services, including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, and Radiology, to ensure comprehensive and collaborative patient care.
Strong communication skills are essential, as you will regularly guide and support pet owners through stressful and emotionally challenging situations. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate and timely medical records using EzyVet and Smart Flow, participating in case discussions and continuing education opportunities, and contributing to hospital-wide training initiatives.
As a valued member of our team, you will play an important role in the continued growth and advancement of the emergency department through protocol development, process improvements, and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
