Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• AHA BLS
• SGNA certification
• Experience with inpatient/outpatient GI lab procedures including GI and pulmonary diagnostic and interventional procedures, ERCP, SPYGLASS, EUS, and navigation bronch

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• Shift days: Monday through Friday
• Intermittent weeknight and weekend call required
• Holiday requirement: Must work 2 major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, and 1 minor holiday out of the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve
