School Based Mental Health Therapist (Fayetteville-Manlius)

Overview Helio Health’s Child & Adolescent Clinic is looking to hire a school-based therapist for the following school districts: Fayetteville-Manlius (High School and Middle Schools) The School Based Mental Health Therapist (Licensed Counselor) will provide a variety of mental health services to students including anxiety, depression, attention issues, problematic behaviors, trauma, substance use issues, issues with family and interpersonal functioning, and more. These positions are Full-Time position with Helio Health. When school is not in session, counselors will be providing services at our Child & Adolescent Clinic as part of our Outpatient program. In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time Licensed Counselors are eligible for a Sign-On Incentive between $4,000-$8,000 depending upon licensure! Pay Range: $32.00- $36.00 per hour/DOE Responsibilities Maintain a case load of patients with grades ranging from elementary through high school. Perform essential counseling responsibilities including screening, intake and orientation, evaluation and intervention, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, counseling, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping. Relate effectively with staff, patients, and professional community while upholding appropriate standards of confidentiality. Qualifications Must hold a valid professional License (including but not limited to LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, etc.) Limited Permit (LP) Licenses are acceptable. Master’s Degree required.
